Range/Stove/Wall Oven Fan Speed Sensor Board
GE brands such as Cafe, General Electric, Monogram, Haier, Hotpoint, and Profile use the Cooling Fan Sensor Board in their ovens and ranges. This OEM part connects to the main control board and monitors internal temperatures. The board features a thermistor sensor that adjusts the convection fan relay and motor speed according to heating needs during baking and broiling.
Failures in the Cooling Fan Sensor Board can result from moisture damage due to spills or steam, poor soldering connections, or manufacturing defects that develop over time. The electronic components may also wear out from frequent heating cycles.
A malfunctioning fan sensor board can cause:
- Inconsistent temperature control, failing to maintain the set oven temperatures
- Issues with convection bake or broil modes not activating correctly
- Abnormal fan speeds that do not match the heating element operation
This board is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and KitchenAid wall ovens and ranges that use the same electronic control system.
