Where to find your dryer model number.

To get started, first select the style of dryer you need parts for. Then use the model number locations guide to reference the various locations the dryer's model and serial number tag may be located.

Model number locations

Locations will vary by model and manufacturer.

1 On the inner frame/rim of the door opening
2 On the inside of the door itself
3 On the back or top of the control console
4 On the lower exterior cabinet (front or sides)

Sample Model Number Tags

Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
