This kit helps prevent your refrigerator from overheating. It is compatible with various GE brands, including Cafe, General Electric, Monogram, Haier, Hotpoint, Profile, and Sears-Kenmore. The defrost thermostat operates by opening at 60°F and closing at 40°F, with a 20°F differential. It safeguards the evaporator during the defrost cycle.

The ML Series from Therm-O-Disc features a 3/4" (19mm) bimetal disc temperature control, known for its reliability and moisture-resistant sealed design. It supports electrical loads of up to 10 amps at 120VAC and 5 amps at 250VAC.
