Water Valve Assembly for Refrigerators

The Water Valve Assembly is a genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part designed for use in LG refrigerators. It functions to control the water flow to the ice maker and water dispenser. When the dispenser is used, the valve opens to allow water through and closes when the dispenser is no longer in use, to halt the water flow. Issues with the valve assembly can arise from several factors including mineral buildup, wear and tear on the valve coil, or electrical problems in the refrigerator.
