It is compatible with brands such as Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore. Additionally, the high voltage diode serves as an essential OEM replacement part for GE microwaves. It functions as a one-way gate, allowing electrical current to flow in only one direction, which is vital for managing the electrical flow in the appliance. The diode measures about 3.5 inches in length and includes a banded side with a #8 ring terminal, and a non-banded side with a 1/4-inch female quick connect.

Unlike typical electrical components, this diode measures resistance rather than continuity. A properly functioning diode will demonstrate resistance in one direction only, indicating it is in good working order. It is suitable for use with certain models from GE, Hotpoint, and Kenmore.
