The Whirlpool EveryDrop Refrigerator Water Filter 5 is designed for compatibility with various refrigerator models from Whirlpool, including Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Additionally, it fits certain products manufactured for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. This OEM replacement filter is suitable for use in Whirlpool bottom freezer and side-by-side refrigerators that accommodate Filter 5.

The installation of the filter is straightforward, requiring a simple turn and no additional tools. For optimal performance, it is advisable to replace the filter every six months. The filter features a micron rating of 0.5 and utilizes coconut carbon block as its filter media. It supports a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute (GPM) and has a capacity of 300 gallons.
