It features a 'D' shaped shaft insert, ensuring compatibility with corresponding D-shaped shafts. When in the OFF position, the flat side of the insert is visible, making it easy to identify. The knob measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter and 1-7/8 inches in width, with the shaft protruding about 1/4 inch beyond the knob's back for a secure and straightforward installation.
