Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly for LG Products

Our refrigerator ice maker assembly is compatible with LG and Sears-Kenmore brands. This product is a 12-cube ice maker OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacement part specifically made for LG refrigerators. The kit includes all essential components required for the ice maker, except for the ice bucket, which is not included.

Installation requires a 1/4 inch hex head screw and either a nut driver or socket. Ensure the ice-detecting sensor is clean and the ice bin compartment door is shut to guarantee proper functionality.

To replace the unit, begin by removing the ice bin. Next, detach the icemaker/auger assembly by unscrewing the fasteners located below the icemaker, beside the ice chute, and at the top left corner. After removing the screws, disconnect the assembly from its wiring. Install the new unit by reversing these steps. Once installed, ice production should commence within 12 to 24 hours.
