This kit is useful if your laundry machine shakes and moves. It is compatible with GE products, including Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore. The newly designed cover features four new rod and spring assemblies. The previous tub dampening straps and clips are no longer needed. This redesign by the manufacturer removes the requirement for the original dampening straps. When you install the new tub cover along with the included suspension rods, the need for dampening straps is eliminated.
