Surface Element Control Switch for Range/Stove/Cooktop, 9".
This component is suitable for use when the element fails to heat. It is compatible with GE products including Hotpoint, General Electric, and Sears-Kenmore. The switch is a genuine OEM replacement part for GE stovetop ranges. It is designed to work with dual 9" burners and functions at 120V and 15 Amps to adjust the cooktop's heat levels. Positioned at the front of the range, this switch is located directly behind the temperature control knobs and has dimensions of 2 x 2 inches. Replacement may be necessary if the stovetop elements do not heat, the knob does not move, or the elements fail to regulate heat properly.

For installation, access to the front of the range oven is required, along with the removal of the connected knobs. A basic household toolkit is sufficient for this task. This particular Surface Burner Switch fits various models from General Electric and Hotpoint.
