It manages all functions of the oven, including the display, and allows users to control features like baking, broiling, and setting timers. Although it has no moving parts, heat and moisture can damage its soldered components, causing it to fail. Signs of a failing control board include a blank display, inability to control certain functions, or complete inoperability. This part is often misdiagnosed, so check the old board with a multimeter before replacing it.
