Dishwasher Circulation Pump Motor

Bosch offers products under the Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau brands. This genuine OEM part is a circulation pump motor specifically designed for dishwashers. Its primary function is to distribute water to the spray arm, ensuring the dishwasher operates effectively. Over time, the motor can wear out and may need replacement. Fortunately, replacing the pump motor is a manageable task.

To start the repair, first, turn off the power and water supply. Remove the screws securing the lower access panel, then disconnect the water supply line from the inlet valve. Next, remove the mounting screws from the junction box cover and note the orientation of the wires. Remove the screws holding the bracket and disconnect the drain hose from the sink or garbage disposal.

Open the dishwasher door and remove the mounting screws. Pull the dishwasher away from the cabinet, unsnap the covers from the hinge ropes, and disconnect the ropes. Remove the screws securing the upper door panel. Tilt the dishwasher back carefully and detach the fill hose from its retaining clip, disconnecting it from the sump. Uninstall the circulation pump, align the new pump with the seal and sump, and tighten the clamp. Transfer the wires from the old pump to the new one, and then reinstall the panels.

This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Bosch, Gaggenau, and Thermador dishwashers.
